Hans van Borculo, also called Hans (or Jan, Janne) Collen (or Colien, Coken), an Anabaptist martyr, a weaver by trade, was burned at the stake at Antwerp, Belgium on 16 December 1558. He is named in the hymn beginning "Aenhoort Godt, hemelsche Vader" (Hear, O God, heavenly Father), No. 16 in the Liedtboecxken van den Offer des Heeren. The records of the Margrave of Antwerp state that his wife, whose name is not given, had been executed in 1559; but nothing further is known of this execution.
