Griet (Griete) Pieter Mollendochter, an Anabaptist martyr, was drowned at Amsterdam on 21 May (van Braght, Martyrs' Mirror, 15 May), 1535, together with ten other women. She was a native of Amsterdam. She confessed that she had been (re) baptized by Jan Matthysz of Middelburg in the home of Trijn Jans de Bacxter at Amsterdam in November 1534.
