Laux Vischer, a potter, guildmaster of the carpenters in [[Augsburg (Freistaat Bayern, Germany)|Augsburg]], united with the [[Anabaptism|Anabaptists]] and was taken prisoner, put in chains, and expelled from the city on 18 October 1527, together with [[Langenmantel, Eitelhans (d. 1528)|Eitelhans Langenmantel]], [[Widholz, Endres (16th century)|Endres Widholz]], [[Fischer, Gall (d. 1530)|Gall Fischer]], Peter Schleppach, [[Kiessling, Hans (16th century)|Hans Kissling]], and [[Eckart, Ulrich (16th century)|Ulrich Eckart]].
