Hans(ken) van Audenaerde (Oudenaarde), an Anabaptist martyr, burned on the Vrijdag market place at Gent, Belgium, on 17 March 1573, together with Beliken de Jaghere and Grietgen van Sluys. Hansken was born at Geeraerdsbergen, Flanders, a son of Joris, a hatmaker, lived in Ghent for two years, and was only 18 years of age.
