The Canada Colonization Association was a subsidiary of the Department of Immigration and Colonization of the [[Canadian Pacific Railway Company|Canadian Pacific Railway Company]] which gave valuable assistance to Mennonite land settlement in Western Canada after [[World War (1914-1918)|World War I]]. The Canada Colonization Association was a subsidiary of the Department of Immigration and Colonization of the Canadian Pacific Railway Company which gave valuable assistance to Mennonite land settlement in Western Canada after World War I. It was organized by Colonel John S. Dennis in 1919 as a private organization but was soon taken over by the Canadian Pacific Railway. T. O. F. Herzer was its long-time director.
