Vitus Anton Winter, pastor of the St. Jacobs Church and professor in the Ludwigs Maximilian University at Landshut, Bavaria, Germany, author of Geschichte der bairischen Wiedertäufer im 16. Jahrhundert (Munich, 1809). This book attempts a treatment of Bavarian Anabaptist history on the basis of the sources, but actually offers little.
