Verbeek (Verbeeck), a rather common Dutch fam­ily name both Mennonite and non-Mennonite. Joos(t) Verbeeck (Joos de Cruysere), a Men­nonite elder, suffered martyrdom at [[Antwerp (Belgium)|Antwerp]], Belgium in 1561.
