Adriaen Wouterssone, an Anabaptist martyr, of Heusden in Brabant, Holland, who is not found in the martyr books, was burned at the stake and his head placed on a pole at Antwerp, 23 September 1552, together with two other brethren. His wife, Mechtelt Melis, was drowned for her faith on the same day.
