Calleken Steens (also called Calleken Swef or Catignies Swelz), an Anabaptist martyr, the daughter of Andries and wife of Augustijn, a native of Sweghem, Flanders, was put to death for her faith by being burned at Rijssel (Lille, France) in 1564, probably 22 February, with Janneken Cabiljaus.
