Hans Marijnsz (Hans Marijnsz van Oosten, or Jan Marinissen), an Anabaptist martyr, burned at the stake on the market square of Middelburg, Dutch province of Zeeland, on 9 February 1569, together with the preacher Hendrik Alewijnsz and Gerrit Duynherder. Hans was about 30 years of age and a cartwright.
