Jans Weyneken (Wyneken, Wijnken), a revolution­ary [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] of Friesland. She sailed with an Amsterdam group in March 1534 en route to [[Münster Anabaptists|Münster]], but was apprehended at [[Bergklooster (Overijssel, Netherlands)|Bergklooster]] in the Dutch province of Overijssel. On 11 May 1534, the Court of Holland sentenced her to be burned at the stake. The sentence was appar­ently executed at The Hague.
