Pieryntgen Ketels, an Anabaptist martyr, who was executed with her mother Leentgen and also Maryntgen and Pieryntgen of Male in 1564, in the abbey of St. Peter in Gent, Belgium. The exact date and method of execution are not known. The names of these martyrs are found in the hymn "Alsmen schreef duyst vijfhondert jaer, ende twee en tsestich mede," which is found in the Lietboecxken of 1578 and following editions.
