Jan Jantsz of Benschop, Dutch province of Utrecht, an Anabaptist martyr, sentenced 11 March 1534 by the Court of Holland to be executed by burning at the stake because he had been rebaptized and had been among the Anabaptists who sailed from Amsterdam en route to Münster.  The execution took place on 24 March 1534.
