Trijn Pietersdochter, an Anabaptist martyr, drowned at The Hague, Holland, 18 March 1536. She belonged to the revolutionary wing of Anabaptism; on 31 December 1535, she partook in a disturbance at Hazerswoude and during the riot of Poeldijk she was apprehended.
