Harman Coenraetsz (Herman van Kelder), a Dutch [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] who was a native of the district of Cleve, Germany, was sentenced to death by the Court of Holland on 7 January 1539, because of being re-baptized. He was executed by beheading at [[Delft (Zuid-Holland, Netherlands)|Delft]], South Holland, together with ten others. According to his own confession he had practiced polygamy. He was executed by beheading at Delft, South Holland, together with ten others. According to his own confession he had practiced polygamy. Obviously he and his companions were followers of David Joris.
