Ezinge, a village in the Dutch province of Groningen, where Leenaert Bouwens baptized 20 or 25 persons in 1561-1563. This number suggests that a Mennonite congregation may have existed here; but since there are no traces of such a congregation, we must assume that the newly baptized joined a congregation in the neighborhood, presumably Oldehove. In 1990 Ezinge was merged with the village of Winsum.
