Enoch Seemann, Jr., born 1694 in Danzig, the son of Enoch Seemann, Sr., was also a painter, specializing in still life. Some of his father's pictures have been erroneously ascribed to him; the subjects of the portraits were no longer living at Enoch's time. He became a well-known portraitist in London, where he painted several members of the royal family. A self-portrait hangs in the Dresden Art Gallery; it is reproduced in Mennonite Life for July 1949. He died in London in 1744.
His son, Paul Seeman, painted portraits and still life, and his three brothers were all painters and ingenious artists, one of whom, Isaac Seeman, died in London on 4 April 1751.
