Adamites<strong> </strong>(Adamieten), the name given a group of [[Anabaptism|Anabaptists]] in a book by Azend van Buchell (Buchelius), <em>Descriptio urbis Rheno-Trajectinae,</em> written in 1592, published in part in [[Utrecht (Utrecht, Netherlands)|Utrecht]] in 1801, 53 pages. He was probably referring to the followers of [[Adam Pastor (d. 1560/70)|Adam Pastor]] <em>(</em>also <em>Diarium </em>of Arend van Buchell, published in [[Amsterdam (Noord-Holland, Netherlands)|Amsterdam]], 1907, 289).
