Claes Jansz van Oostsanen (Oostzanen), a Dutch Anabaptist martyr, was sentenced by the Court of Holland on 27 August 1534 to die by being beheaded, while his wife Truitje Gysberts was sentenced on the same day to be drowned. Both had participated in the journey to Münster and were arrested at Bergklooster.
