Leitgen, a Mennonite elder, active in the Dutch province of Limburg, who died about 1545. He is named in the trial of Theunis van Hastenrath. In the beginning, about 1535, he had some leaning toward Münsterite principles, but later he was a peaceful Anabaptist. He was probably a native of the city of Jülich.
