Susteren, a village in the Dutch province of Limburg, in the 16th century belonging to the duchy of Jülich, was a center of Anabaptist activity about 1550. It was then called "The principal point of the (new) religious revival." There is, however, only scarce information about this revival. Fifteen persons were baptized at Susteren by Elder Lemken, but soon after this all traces of Anabaptists in this area are lost.
