Sara Wanty (Wanry; Martyrs’ Mirror has "Wanrij"), the wife of Hans Pfister, was imprisoned at Zürich, Switzerland, in 1643 with two other women because of Mennonite convictions; she suffered many hardships and finally died in prison.
