Aleydt van Onckel, a noble lady of Amsterdam, the widow of Vrederick van Onckel, had joined the Anabaptists. In 1536, or even before, she was drowned at Amsterdam because of "Lutheranism" (i.e., heresy) and Anabaptism. Her considerable property was confiscated.
