Jehan Bertheloot, an Anabaptist martyr, a native of Cassel, Flanders, was burned at the stake at Bruges, Belgium, on 10 December 1561. He is not mentioned in van Braght's Martyrs' Mirror. He may be identical either with Hansken Parmentier or Hans Lisz, both found in the Martyrs' Mirror (Dutch edition, 288; English edition, 655).
