Berwangen, a village in the Sinsheim district of Baden, where a Mennonite congregation was formed in the middle of the 19th century, when a division took place in the congregation at Streichenberg near Eppingen as a consequence of the rise of the Fröhlichianer or Neutäufer (see Apostolic Christian Church). On 21 September 1873 the congregational seat was transferred to Ittlingen and in 1912 the congregation merged with that at Immelhausen; the combined group was then called the Sinsheim congregation.
