Elisabeth Bachmann, an Anabaptist martyr, was seized in Zürich in 1643 with two fellow believers, Elssa Bethezai and Sara Wanry. They remained steadfast in their faith and ended their lives in prison after enduring much want, misery, and wretchedness.
