<p><b>New page</b></p><div>Christian Reesor: an Old Order Mennonite leader; born on 16 April 1833 in Markham Township, York County, Ontario, the son of John Eby Reesor, a Mennonite preacher, and Maria (Burkholder) Reesor. His home was on the site of the present Reesor (Wisler) Mennonite Church. His brothers Simeon and Noah were older than Christian while Benjamin and Susanna (Diller) were younger. His first marriage was to Esther (1838-68), daughter of John Hoover, in 1856. His second marriage was to Rebecca Miller (1837-1917) of [[Pennsylvania (USA)|Pennsylvania]] in 1885. Christian Reesor died on 26 December 1915.<br />
