Other descendants have spread throughout the Netherlands. In Twente most of them lived in [[Hengelo (Overijssel, Netherlands)|Hengelo]]. A few Overbeeks have been ministers. Hendrik Overbeek, a weaver, was a lay preacher of the [[Groningen Old Flemish Mennonites|Groningen Old Flemish]] congregation at Hengelo from 1727 until he retired in 1743. He died about 1762. Klaas Tigler Overbeek (d. 1847) of [[Dokkum (Friesland, Netherlands)|Dokkum]] was a minister of the [[Franeker (Friesland, Netherlands)|Franeker]] Mennonite congregation 1811-1846, while his son Pieter Overbeek served the congregation of [[Terhorne (Friesland, Netherlands)|Terhorne]] 1841-1867. Cornelis Loosjes Overbeek, b. 1793 at Haarlem, d. 1841 at [[Zutphen (Gelderland, Netherlands)|Zutphen]], a son of Lucas Overbeek and Engeltje Loosjes, served at Zutphen 1819-1838. He then went into business. He left some property to the [[Algemene Doopsgezinde Societeit|Algemene Doopsgezinde Sociëteit]].&lt;br /&gt;
