The <em>Mennonite Cyclopedic Dictionary</em>, subtitled as <em>A Compendium of the Doctrines, History, Activities, Literature and Environments of the Mennonite Church</em> (Scottdale, 1937), was a condensed reference manual of 445 pages, with mostly short articles, was not only edited but also largely written by [[Kauffman, Daniel (1865-1944)|Daniel Kauffman]]. The subject matter was limited largely to the [[Mennonite Church (MC)|Mennonite Church (MC)]].
