The Hopewell Mennonite Church, Pottstown, [[Pennsylvania (USA)|Pennsylvania]], USA began in 1984 as an outreach church of the [[Hopewell Church (Elverson, Pennsylvania, USA)|Hopewell Mennonite Church]] of Elverson. It first met in a small church at the edge of Pottstown. It purchased a partially constructed church building from the Greater Pottstown Community Church that had gone bankrupt during construction. Hopewell finished construction of the sanctuary in spring 1988.

Hopewell Mennonite Church formally joined the [[Atlantic Coast Conference of Mennonite Church USA|Atlantic Coast Conference]] as a self-supporting congregation in March 1989.

In 2001 Hopewell Mennonite Church was part of the decision by a group of congregations to form the [[Hopewell Network of Churches]] that left the Atlantic Coast Conference and [[Mennonite Church USA]]. The congregation then became known as Hopewell Community Church.

In 2022 the congregation remained part of the Hopewell Network of Churches.
