These were soon published: (1) &amp;lt;em&amp;gt;Veele schoone grondige leeringen wt des Heeren woort&amp;lt;/em&amp;gt;, 1577, n. p.; (2) &amp;lt;em&amp;gt;Een vaderlyck Adieu, Testament en sorchvuldighe onderwysinghe, . . . aan zijne Kinderen&amp;lt;/em&amp;gt;, published by [[Biestkens, Nicolaes (d. 1585)|Nicolaas Biestkens]] at [[Amsterdam (Noord-Holland, Netherlands)|Amsterdam]] in 1578 and included by [[Braght, Tieleman Jansz van (1625-1664)|van Braght]], [[Martyrs' Mirror|&amp;amp;lt;em&amp;amp;gt;Martyrs' Mirror&amp;amp;lt;/em&amp;amp;gt;]]; (3) a reprint of (1), n.p. (apparently by [[Roman, Gillis (d. ca. 1610)|Gillis Rooman]] at Haarlem 1581, followed by six letters &amp;quot;written in my prison at Middelburg,&amp;quot; the first of which is dated 18 August 1568, the last 20 January 1569). This volume, which is found in the [[Amsterdam Mennonite Library (Bibliotheek en Archief van de Vereenigde&lt;br /&gt;
Doopsgezinde Gemeente te Amsterdam)|Amsterdam Mennonite Library]], also contains two songs made by Alewijnsz: &amp;quot;Och wilt u doch eens schamen, ghy roemers al te samen&amp;quot;  (Oh, be ashamed, ye boasters all together), and &amp;quot;Hoert mijn Adieu myn vrienden doch&amp;quot; (Hear my farewell, my friends), included in [[Wackernagel, Philipp (1800-1877)|Wackernagel]], &amp;lt;em&amp;gt;Lieder&amp;lt;/em&amp;gt;, 203-205; from this book a letter, &amp;quot;Een gantsch Christelijcke groet,&amp;quot; and his confession have been copied in the Dutch martyr books, including van Braght, &amp;lt;em&amp;gt;Martyrs' Mirror&amp;lt;/em&amp;gt;; (4) Nos. 1 and 3 were reprinted together at [[Hoorn (Noord-Holland, Netherlands)|Hoorn]] in 1611 by [[Zacharias Cornelisz (d. ca 1640)|Zacharias Cornelisz]]. A French translation of Alewijnsz' booklet &amp;lt;em&amp;gt;Veele schoone grondige leeringen&amp;lt;/em&amp;gt; was published in 1626, n.p., under the title &amp;lt;em&amp;gt;Ensuivent Plusieurs belles Instructions&amp;lt;/em&amp;gt;, as an appendix to the French edition of [[Dirk Philips (1504-1568)|Dirk Philips']] [[Enchiridion Oft Hantboecxken|&amp;amp;lt;em&amp;amp;gt;Enchiridion&amp;amp;lt;/em&amp;amp;gt;]]. The &amp;lt;em&amp;gt;Martyrs' Mirror&amp;lt;/em&amp;gt; contains a letter of November 1569, his confession, and his farewell letter to his children.&lt;br /&gt;
