Georg Ziegler, a tailor of [[Strasbourg (Alsace, France)|Strasbourg]], who associated with the [[Anabaptism|Anabaptists]] and gave them hiding places and lodging, confessed that he had done it at [[Capito, Wolfgang (1478-1541)|Capito's]] request. "He is a suspicious and seditious man. He has composed his doctrines in rhyme and was early an adherent of [[Denck, Hans (ca. 1500-1527)|Hans Denk]]."
