A daughter colony of the Upland Hutterite Colony is the [[Elmendorf Christian Community (Mountain Lake, Minnesota, USA)|Elmendorf Christian Community]] (Mountain Lake, Minnesota, USA).

In 2023 the Upland Hutterite Colony was a [[Schmiedeleut|Schmiedeleut]] Group 2 colony.
