Roelof Schuursma, born 1870 at Meppel, a Dutch Mennonite pastor, serving at [[Horn, Den (Groningen, Netherlands)|Den Horn]] 1897-1902, Baard 1902-1903, [[Westzaan (Noord-Holland, Netherlands)|Westzaan]]-Noord 1903-1910, and [[Zutphen (Gelderland, Netherlands)|Zutphen]] 1910-1929. He wrote a Dutch language novel on the martyr [[Elisabeth Dirks (d. 1549)|Elisabeth Dirks]], entitled <em>Van Elisabeth, die een Bagijntje was</em> (Enschedé, Netherlands, Van den Broek & Adolfs 1921, 80 p).
