<em>Schultbekentenisse (Confession of Guilt) van Jan Hendricksz van Schiedam</em>, published in 1590 (no publisher indicated), is a notable booklet in which Jan Hendricksz, elder of the [[Frisian Mennonites|Frisian]] congregation of [[Schiedam (Zuid-Holland, Netherlands)|Schiedam]], Holland, lamented the [[Frisian Mennonites|Frisian]]-[[Flemish Mennonites|Flemish]] schism of 1566-67. His confession of guilt, signed by him and ten other preachers and deacons, was an introduction to the merger of the (Young) Frisians and the [[High German Mennonites|High German Mennonites]] on the basis of the [[Concept of Cologne (Anabaptists, 1591)|Concept of Cologne]] in 1591.
