Cornelius Regier, minister: born 14 January 1835 in [[Tiegenhagen (Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland)|Tiegenhagen]], Prussia, the twelfth of fifteen children of [[Regier, Peter (1798-1856)|Peter Regier (1798-1856)]] and Margaretha (Regier) Regier (1799-1861). Abraham married Agneta Penner (24 October 1836, [[Tiegenort (Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland)|Tiegenort]], Prussia - 9 December 1906, [[Danzig (Poland)|Danzig]], Prussia) on 24 October 1859 in Tiegenhagen, Prussia. She was the daughter of Aron Penner (1790-1866) and Maria (Regehr) Penner. Cornelius died 23 November 1919 in [[Tiegenhagen (Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland)|Tiegenhagen]], Prussia.

Cornelius was a farmer and estate holder. His father Peter was the elder of the Grosswerder Mennonite Church in Prussia. Cornelius was ordained as a minister in the Tiegenhagen Mennonite Church in 1867, where his older brother [[Regier, Abraham (1831-1908)|Abraham]] was the elder.
