The congregation originated as a new district in the [[Mornington Amish Mennonite Church (Poole, Ontario, Canada)|Mornington]] (Milverton) district due to the increasing size of the congregation.

The district is located northeast of Milverton. Bishop Jonas Kuepfer served in 2001 as a non-salaried congregational leader. The congregation has been affiliated with the Old Order Amish. The language of worship is German.
