The Mennonite Aid Plan of West Liberty, Ohio, was organized 1 April 1896 as a mutual fire and storm insurance association to serve the Mennonites (MC) of the [[Logan County (Ohio, USA)|Logan]] and [[Champaign County (Ohio, USA)|Champaign County]] settlement. In 1953 it had 205 members with a property coverage of $2,323,000.
