The Mennonite Aid Association of the [[Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference (Mennonite Church USA)|Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference]] was organized in 1911, as a mutual fire and storm insurance society. In 1953 it had 2,608 members with $22,222,000 of property covered. In 2000 it became part of the MutualAid eXchange (MAX), a reciprocal insurance company exclusively for Anabaptists throughout the [[United States of America|United States]] and Canada.
