Leitgen, a Mennonite elder, active in the Dutch province of [[Limburg (Netherlands)|Limburg]], who died about 1545. He is named in the trial of Theunis van Hastenrath. In the beginning, about 1535, he had some leaning toward [[Münster Anabaptists|Münsterite]] principles, but later he was a peaceful [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]]. He was probably a native of the city of [[Jülich (Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany)|Jülich]].
