Jan van Doornik, an [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] martyr, was burned at the stake in 1569 at [[Antwerp (Belgium)|Antwerp]] and named by [[Braght, Tieleman Jansz van (1625-1664)|van Braght]]. He is identical with [[Jan Poote (d. 1569)|Jan Poote]].
