David Hollatz (d. 1771) was a Protestant theologian of Pomerania, [[Germany|Germany]], author of [[Devotional Literature|devotional literature]], and pastor in Güntersberg from 1730 on. His books, some of which are still read, were also used by [[Pietism|pietistically]] inclined [[Mennonite (The Name)|Mennonites]] in the [[Palatinate (Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany)|Palatinate]], chiefly <em>Evangelische Gnadenordnung </em>(Basel, 1894); <em>Gebahnte Pilgerstrasse nach dem Berge Zion </em>(Basel, 1866); and <em>Verherrlichung Christi in seinem theuren und unschätzbaren Blute </em>(Basel, 1894). The <em>Gnadenordnung </em>(with <em>Pilgerstrasse) </em>was reprinted a number of times in the [[United States of America|United States]], first in [[Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, USA)|Philadelphia]] in 1810. The second edition was reprinted by the Mennonite printer Heinrich Eby at [[Berlin (Ontario, Canada)|Berlin]], Canada, in 1844 under the title <em>Heils und Gnaden Ordnung.</em>
