Hans de Swarte, an [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] martyr, was burned at the stake at [[Lille (Nord-Pas de Calais, France)|Lille]], [[France|France]], on 27 April 27, 1563. He was a son of [[Jan de Swarte (d. 1563)|Jan de Swarte]].
