First Mennonite Church, El Dorado, [[Arkansas (USA)|Arkansas]], USA, roots emerged from the Hudson Memorial Nursing Home established by Rosedale Mennonite Missions in 1959. Rosedale also established a [[Voluntary Service]] unit in El Dorado. Local Mennonites organized as a congregation of the [[Rosedale Network of Churches|Conservative Mennonite Conference]] in 1968. Owen Guengerich served as the first congregation's first pastor.

When the [[Gulf States Mennonite Conference (Mennonite Church USA)|Gulf States Mennonite Conference]] of the [[Mennonite Church (MC)]] formed in 1979, First Mennonite also joined this body.

The congregation changed its name to Faith Community Church between 2005 and 2007.

In 2023 Faith Community Church remained part of the Rosedale Network of Churches and [[Mennonite Church USA]].
