<em>Das Bergthaler Gemeindeblatt</em>, was a four-page German monthly published by the [[Bergthal Mennonites|Bergthaler Mennonite Church]] at [[Altona (Manitoba, Canada)|Altona, Manitoba]] beginning in January 1936. The initial editors were [[Schulz, David (1897-1976)|David Schulz]], [[Siemens, Jacob John (1896-1963)|J. J. Siemens]] and J. R. Höppner. In 1952 it was edited by David Schulz and H. J. Gerbrandt. In 1972 when the Bergthaler Mennonite Church became part of the [[Conference of Mennonites in Canada|Conference of Mennonites in Canada]], the <em>Bergthaler Gemeindeblatt</em> ceased with the Thanksgiving 1972 issue. At that time the editor was Betty Wiebe, and the text was entirely in English.
