View source for Barbara Smachscheers (d. 1557)

Barbara Smachscheers, an [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] martyr, was burned at the stake on the Vrijdagsmarkt in [[Ghent (Oost-Vlaanderen, Belgium)|Ghent]], [[Belgium|Belgium]], on 13 April 1557 together with two other martyrs. Further particulars are lacking.
