View source for Paturatte, La (Bernese Jura, Switzerland)

La Paturatte, in the Bernese [[Jura Mountains|Jura]], [[Switzerland|Switzerland]]. Here in the fields is found a Mennonite school, founded in 1900 by Elder Samuel Gerber of the Sonnenberg congregation. In 1955 the school room was remodeled. It was a private school, run without state aid; the number of children was 16 in 1956 and the teacher was Samuel Gerber.
