Heinrich H. Regier: Mennonite ([[General Conference Mennonite Church (GCM)|General Conference Mennonite]]) elder; born 12 September 1855 at [[Alexanderkrone (Molotschna Mennonite Settlement, Zaporizhia Oblast, Ukraine)|Alexanderkrone]] in the Molotschna Mennonite settlement, South Russia. During the migration of the Mennonites from Russia to America he settled in [[Mountain Lake (Minnesota, USA)|Mountain Lake, Minnesota]]. He attended the Baptist Theological Seminary at Rochester, New York. In 1888 he became the first minister of the [[Bethel Mennonite Church (Mountain Lake, Minnesota, USA)|Bethel Mennonite Church]], and elder on 18 November 1890. He married Maria Görtzen 30 March 1884. On 1 January 1927 he resigned from his office and died 4 January 1934. He baptized 157 candidates, ordained 12 elders, and served on the aid committee of the General Conference for many years.
