View source for Müller, Johann (1823-1888)

Johann Müller, b. 1823 at Navarya, [[Galicia (Poland &amp; Ukraine)|Galicia]], formerly [[Austria|Austria]], d. 1888 in Blyszcsyvody, married Magdalene Kintzi, was ordained minister in 1846 and elder 19 June 1864, at [[Neuhof (Lviv Oblast, Ukraine)|Neuhof]]. He cooperated with his brother, the real estate dealer <em>(Güterhändler) </em>[[Müller, Peter (1825-1873)|Peter Müller]], in establishing the [[Ehrenfeld (Poland)|Ehrenfeld]] settlement in 1864, of which he was elder. In 1865 he established a school fund for Mennonite students and in 1871 he published the <em>Glaubensbekenntnis für Taufgesinnte der galizischen Mennonitengemeinden.</em>
