 Petr (Peter) Chelčický (Chelcicky, Chelciki) was a remarkable Czech Christian leader (farmer, not priest), an apostle of complete [[Nonresistance|nonresistance]] and advocate of a high type of Christian [[Discipleship|discipleship]], a forerunner of the [[Bohemian Brethren|Bohemian Brethren]] (opponent of the Taborites), in many respects much like the early [[Anabaptism|Anabaptists]]. He was the author of numerous books and pamphlets, the chief being <em>The Net of Faith.</em>
